About Kimberly Chen

I’ve always had an interest in Real Estate and decided to take the class to increase my knowledge. Upon completing the classes and obtaining my license, I knew this was the career I wanted to move forward in. Before starting in Real Estate, I had a career in Social Work and as a Counselor after graduating from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 1992. My previous career taught me a great deal about working with people and has helped me become a better agent especially with understanding and addressing the stress involved with buying, selling or renting a home. With over 18 years in the industry I’ve enjoyed helping my clients with selling, buying and renting their homes. With my experience and unique approach, I have built my business with very little self-promotion. The majority of my business (about 95%) is referral base. My business approach has always been very simple: 1. Do the very best you can and do and do it with honesty and respect. 2. Continue my education in order to better serve everyone in order to navigate the ever changing laws. In 2020 I obtaining my Associate Broker’s License. 3. Have an open ear to really hear what my clients’ needs are and always put those needs first. 4. Just do the right thing each and every time! 5. This year, 2026, obtained my P.A. Associate Brokers license.  

In July of 2021 Samson Properties asked me to take on a new role as Broker Manager of our Frederick office along with The Assisant Broker to the State of Maryland for Samson Properties. This position I have held for the last five years has given me the oportunity to help our agents. 

My carrier has taken me throughout the state of Maryland in order to help many clients. I’m licensed in the entire state of MD but have extensive experience in the Counties of: Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Carroll, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George’s, Washington, and even Queen Anne’s! 

 I was once told “this is your passion” and I truly believe that it is, because I’m helping people. There is nothing more rewarding then seeing a client’s face when we’ve completed their transaction with little to no stress and they are completely satisfied with their experience! I look forward to continuing  to work with my clients and helping them obtain their individual home buying, rental and selling goals. I can honestly say, “My goal is helping you obtain yours!”
